Autumn Spa Day - Lion Quays

Last month, Jack and I went to Lion Quays for the first time after hearing so many good reviews from others. We had the "Autumn Glory Spa Day" which included a full day in the spa, two twenty minute treatments and lunch in the restaurant which was £75 each for the day.

We got to the spa around 12:30pm and had lunch straight away which was so good. It was buffet style and there was lots of light and healthy choices, which I love!

There was hot and cold food to choose from, and a good variety of vegetarian options for me.

We then went down to the spa where we had two treatments booked in. The choice of treatments were; A nourishing scalp massage, a salt and oil body scrub, a facial for the hands and a refreshing foot treat. I went for the hand and foot treatment whilst Jack had the scalp massage and body scrub. I was really impressed that we got to have two treatments, and there was a good variety to choose from.

I had a lovely therapist who did my hand facial, followed by my foot treatment which was done in one of the relaxing massage rooms. It had a heated bed which was a really nice touch so you felt really warm and relaxed.

We then went into the Spa Thermal Suite which has a giant Jacuzzi pool in the middle, and different rooms around it with a Sauna, steam room and also a snow room (a room literally covered with snow) which I braved for less than a minute.

We also had access to the main swimming pool but we preferred the atmosphere of the thermal suite, and it was warmer! We had such a lovely afternoon, my only criticism is that it went too fast! I will definitely be going back to Lion Quays for a spa day, I would probably choose a longer treatment next time just because it's my favourite part!

Hope you have enjoyed this post!
Have you been on a spa day before?
